Multi-Themed Social Groups

Our Multi-Themed Social Groups are designed to create meaningful peer interaction opportunities while helping learners build confidence participating in group environments.

Social Skills Focused Groups

Our Social Skills Groups are specifically designed to help learners develop and practice a wide range of social and interpersonal skills through structured and interactive activities.

Group activities may include:

  • Rotating board games and cooperative play

  • Group games, movement activities, and sports

  • Facilitated peer interaction and conversation practice

  • Show-and-tell and presentation opportunities

  • Weekly social learning topics such as:

    • Personal space and body awareness

    • Stranger safety and community awareness

    • Understanding humor and jokes

    • Friendship building and perspective taking

    • Following community and social expectations, and more.

       

These groups provide learners with opportunities to practice social skills in real-time with peers while receiving guided support and feedback from highly-trained staff.

Themed Groups

Our Themed Groups provide learners with opportunities to engage in enriching, interest-based group experiences within a supportive environment designed to promote potential inclusion opportunity for learners. 

*Our staff are trained and experienced in supporting a variety of learning and behavioral needs

*Classroom aides are available when additional support is needed within the group setting.

Themed Groups may include:

  • Art-based activities to encourage creativity and self-expression

  • Music-centered experiences focused on rhythm, movement, participation, and collaboration

  • Culinary activities that promote independence, sequencing, teamwork, and sensory exploration
     

These groups combine social learning with hands-on, engaging experiences that help learners build confidence, connection, and participation skills in a natural and enjoyable way.
